Cattraction

Project Summary

The Goal

Wei Kai wanted a website that could fully express Cattraction’s concept, moving away from a generic look to something more immersive and distinctive. The aim was to bring out the outdoor, cave-inspired experience through a nature-led visual direction, while still keeping the site clear and easy to navigate. At the same time, the website needed to support bookings seamlessly and highlight what makes the café special, especially their rare cat breeds, to spark interest and encourage visits.

The Scope

We took time to properly understand the concept through a mix of on-site visits, walkthroughs, and discussions. This included visiting the café space, reviewing renovation mockups, and looking at the furniture and materials he had selected. Wei Kai also walked us through the intended customer journey, which helped us better visualise the atmosphere and translate it into the website.

From there, we designed and developed a customised website that included:

  • A nature-inspired visual direction with forest tones and cave-like elements to reflect the café’s environment
  • Clear content structure to guide users through the cave-inspired interior design
  • A booking system that not only allows users to reserve time slots, but also accounts for the café’s capacity limits to prevent overbooking and ensure a smooth on-ground experience
  • A custom user dashboard where customers can view their bookings and reschedule if needed, with clear rules in place such as allowing changes up to one time and at least 24 hours in advance
  • A dedicated cat showcase page to feature their unique breeds and personalities
  • Mobile-responsive layouts to ensure a smooth browsing and booking experience
  • Content planning and layout decisions to balance visual storytelling with usability

The final result brings together atmosphere and function, giving visitors a clear sense of the space while making it easy for them to explore and book.
